Unocal Corp. named Cushman to find new corporate home
DOWNTOWN L.A. -- Unocal Corp. last week selected Cushman Realty Corp. as the brokerage firm it will use to find a new corporate home.
Unocal sold its 34-year-old L.A. headquarters complex in Dec. 1988 to Hillman Properties, which plans to demolish the classic 1950s landmark and replace it with a 5-million-square-foot commercial project.
Cushman's assignment is to find Unocal some 750,000 square feet of alternative office space for at least 10 years by 1993, which would make it the largest lease in Los Angeles County history. Industry sources placed ...
