Apr. 16--Kristian Jensen Sr. came to the United States from Denmark in the early 1920s with little more than a love of automobiles and the desire to start his own business.
Today, his son and grandsons are at the helm of Jensen's Residential Communities, the company he founded in 1927. Jensen's pioneered the idea of low-maintenance, high-quality manufactured homes made affordable by their location on leased lots within a planned community.
