Stride Rite ceo Jackson quits again
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Just six months after being named president and chief executive officer of Stride Rite Corp., Ronald Jackson announced he was leaving - for the second time - to take the top job at Fisher Price, a division of Quaker Oats.
Jackson, who was already working at Fisher Price the same day Stride Rite reported he had left said in a statement released by Stride Rite, "The challenge of heading a corporation which is substantially larger than Stride Rite and in an industry I know so well was just too good to turn down."
