Treasure Cave has come up with a new single-serve packaging concept for crumbled blue cheese used on salads. Available in limited markets since February, the cheese comes in new 3/4-oz white plastic cups presented as a fourpack. The four cups are contained in a windowed, .016 SBS carton from Field Container, offset-printed in five colors with an aqueous coating and flagged with "new" and "single serve-ready when you are." Graphics adorning the carton--as well as the peelable, extrusion-laminated foil/polyethylene sealant lidstock from Winpak that's heat-sealed to the cups--are presented in a blue and white color scheme with a design resembling the look of the marbled blue ...
