LAWSUIT CLAIMS NINTENDO'S INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS INFRINGED

REDMOND, Wash., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Nintendo of America Inc. announced today that it filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in San Francisco against Lewis Galoob Toys Inc. of South San Francisco, for copyright infringement. The suit claims a new Galoob product called Game Genie, which is designed for play with a Nintendo (R) home video game system, creates 'derivative' works of Nintendo copyrighted video games, in violation of U.S. law.
