A little over a month after being acquired by NYFIX, New York City-based Javelin Technologies has entered into a strategic alliance with Bonaire Software Solutions Llc. Boston-based Bonaire, a provider of front-, middle- and back-office connectivity software. The deal is expected to broaden connectivity, tradeflow and data routing capabilities for Javelin, which is known chiefly as a FIX vendor.
"We're seeking not only to maintain, but to extend our industry leadership," said John Coulter, president and COO of Javelin. "Bonaire has established itself as a proven provider of client integration services and application software for the securities industry."
