Hardwood flooring companies brought an array of new products to Surfaces 2002, with highlights that included locking products, a continued expansion into wide widths, an increase in exotic species and colors and more distressed looks.

The trend in glueless, locking flooring, which started with laminate flooring and accelerated a year ago with half a dozen laminate companies introducing glueless floors, is increasingly moving into the hardwood market.
