MOST-FAVORED-NATION STATUS FOR SOVIET UNION
WASHINGTON, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- John R. Block, former U.S. secretary of agriculture, president of the National-American Wholesale Grocers' Association (NAWGA), and chairman of the National Agricultural Advisory Committee of the Citizens Network for Foreign Affairs, today released a statement signed by five former secretaries of agriculture and 27 major agricultural groups and corporations in America calling on the United States to confer most-favored-nation status on the Soviet Union at the earliest possible time.
