Apr. 21--FORT WORTH, Texas--Mayor Kenneth Barr is urging the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau to look at getting back into a regional marketing program it helped create but abandonned six years ago.
Barr has asked bureau President Doug Harman to get more information on the Dallas Metroplex program which is a marketing partnership between the convention and visitors bureaus of Dallas, Arlington and Irving.
Representatives of the Metroplex program have tried each year to get Fort Worth back in but to no avail. This is the first time Fort Worth officials ...
