EUROPEAN refuse collection lorry manufacturer FAUN Municipal Vehicles is aiming for 30pc growth at its base on Anglesey this year to make it UK market leader.
The German-owned company has seen a 50pc jump in sales over the past 12 months and expects last year's turnover of pounds 14m to rise to pounds 18m in 2002.
Workforce at the Welsh Development Agency's Bryn Cefni Business Park site in Llangefni has increased from 114 last October to 211 today to keep pace with the higher level of business and the firm says that more jobs could be created later this year if orders continue to roll in.
