Advanced Neuromodulation Systems, Inc. (ANS) (NASDAQ:ANSI) announced today that revenue for the first quarter of 2002 increased 38% to a record $11,473,000 from $8,341,000 for the first quarter of 2001, and from $10,471,000 for the fourth quarter of 2001.
Net income for the first quarter of 2002 increased to $837,000, or $0.08 per diluted share. This compares to a net loss of $6,000, or $(0.00) per share, for the first quarter of 2001, and to net income of $680,000, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2001.
