Apr. 25--Alexandria Lane, 9, feeds her brother Trevor, 2 1/2 weeks, after dinner in the family's residence, at their home, Mary's Place, a transitional housing community in downtown Minneapolis.
The McKnight Foundation will award its largest grant ever today -- $28 million to boost the metro area's stock of affordable housing by 5,000 homes and apartments.
In a separate move, the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency is asking its board this afternoon to approve $28 million in affordable housing funding for 60 projects throughout the state.
