Police on Monday arrested a 47-year-old Sleepy Hollow inventor who they say disabled the security systems, lottery machines and ATMs in three local supermarkets last week.
David R. Pacholok of 1815 W. Higgins Road faces three felony counts of criminal damage to property. He was arrested without incident Monday at his home.
The charges stem from separate incidents on April 16 in three Dominick's Finer Foods stores in East Dundee, Carpentersville and Lake in the Hills.
