The New York City Opera, already considering Ground Zero as a possible site for a new home, is in discussions with the developers of Donald Trump's Riverside project on the far West Side as well.

The opera house would be part of a large development being considered for a 6-acre plot of land extending from West 59th Street to West 61st and from West End Avenue to the Hudson River. The complex would also include apartments, retail outlets and other facilities, such as an ice rink and a swimming pool.
