There hasn't been a Jason this frightening since all those Friday the 13th movies, even if this leading man doesn't wear a goalie mask.
He is Los Angeles Kings center Jason Allison, a 6-foot-3, 218-pounder who will do his best to scare the short pants off the Colorado Avalanche in the teams' first-round playoff series that opens tonight at the Pepsi Center.
``He does some things that make you go, `Holy smokes, I'm glad he's on our side,' '' Kings coach Andy Murray said.
