Millions of people each year make the pilgrimage to Hollywood Boulevard searching for familiar names like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's almost fitting that the Walk of Fame cuts its swath through a corridor of overpriced memorabilia shops, entertainment landmarks and windows decked out with exotic lingerie.
Ah-nold's "I'll be back," proclamation aside, most alumni of the sidewalk shrine are remembered as images, rarely leaving society with lasting thoughts, ideals or actions.
