DAVID C. BATTEN JOINS BLACKSTONE GROUP AS GENERAL PARTNER
NEW YORK, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- David C. Batten is joining the Blackstone Group effective July 1, it was announced today.
Batten, 45, had been a managing director of First Boston Corporation since 1978 where he had played a major role in building the firm's capital markets business.
At the Blackstone Group, Batten's responsibility will include financial advisory services for the firm's clients and management of Blackstone Group funds.
