BOSTON -- The Kohl's juggernaut continues to roll into its last untapped East Coast market with the Friday opening of 13 stores in the Greater Boston metropolitan area.
Another two Boston-area stores will open in the fall, along with Kohl's entry into the adjacent Providence, R. I., market with four stores.
"Boston is the last major East Coast city we are entering," said Steve Byers, senior vice-president and Kohl's regional manager for the Eastern U.S. "Each of those markets, from Washington, D.C., on up, has been a very quick success for us."
