Apr. 29--G.I. Joe's retail presence in Clark County tells two stories.
One is how a store selling big-ticket items can make a go of it here. The other demonstrates how Oregon continues to get a piece of Clark County's retail action.
G.I. Joe's sells camping gear, sporting goods, auto parts and accessories and clothing, and this month marks its 50th anniversary in business. That history includes nearly 13 years in Clark County with a store on Mill Plain Boulevard.
