CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio--Health Care Logistics Inc. has launched several products in keeping with its identity as a source of "special answers to special problems."
The company's new offerings include the ShotBlocker to make injections pain free, a locking refrigerator and personal toilet kits.
The ShotBlocker stimulates the skin at the injection site with multiple blunt contact points. Working on the theory that the spinal cord has a gating mechanism through which both pain and sensory signals reach the brain, the ShotBlocker's chemical- and drugfree sensation closes the "gate" to block the flow of pain signals to the brain.
