EARLY COURT DATE SET IN NINTENDO SUIT OVER GALOOB 'GAME GENIE'; COURT RULES GALOOB MUST PRESENT PROTOTYPE TO NINTENDO FOR EVALUATION

REDMOND, Wash., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- In a ruling that may ultimately prohibit Lewis Galoob Toys from bringing its Game Genie product to market, Judge Schnacke of the San Francisco District Court today set an early hearing date -- in late June -- to determine the need for a preliminary injunction. While the court did not see the need to issue a temporary restraining order, Galoob confirmed that the product will not be brought to market until after the hearing.
