MeriStar Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: MMH), the nation's largest independent hotel management company, and Interstate Hotels Corporation (Nasdaq: IHCO), the nation's second largest independent hotel management company, announced they will hold a conference call at 2 p.m. ET today to discuss in greater detail their announced merger.
The merger will combine the two largest independent hotel management companies into one organization that will operate 412 hotels in the United States, Canada and Europe.
