2002 MAY 8 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Long-term treatment with Foradil Aerolizer (formoterol fumarate inhalation powder) is more effective and better tolerated than treatment with oral slow-release theophylline in patients with symptomatic chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), according to a new study published in the April 2002 issue of Chest, the official publication of the American College of Chest Physicians.
