Charles Nolte smiled when asked if he has a bio sheet.
"There," he said, waving his hand at dozens of three-ring notebooks on the credenza in the comfortable wood-paneled basement office of his southeast Minneapolis home.
The notebooks contain single-spaced typewritten diaries, thousands of pages recounting a life that has taken Nolte from Minneapolis to New York, Europe, Hollywood and back to Minneapolis, with myriad points in between.
