MANILA, May 3 Asia Pulse - Plans to buy two squadrons of multi-role fighters for the Philippine Air Force (PAF) may finally materialise this year when the government releases the second trance of P10 billion (US$199.50 billion) to be used as a down payment for the acquisition of the jet interceptors.
"When the next trance is released, we are ready for the down payment," Lieutenant General Benjamin P. Defensor Junior PAF commanding general, told PNA.
