Deficiency in diet as the cause of ulcer development is not a far-fetched suspicion. A well-balanced diet reduces stress and is conducive to healing. Unlike the case with powerful drugs, there are no side effects. Patients should consider the wisdom of embarking on a "food therapy" regimen.
