Mexico may be drilling for more non-associated natural gas to augment existing production, but it also is going to be importing significant volumes as domestic supplies still will not be able to keep up with soaring demand, according to Armando Jimenez San Vicente, director general for energy policy projection at Mexico's Energy Secretariat.
Consequently, Mexico anticipates aggressive development of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities to handle the needed imports.
