Atlet TLP powered pallet transporters are being used by Yeo Valley Farms, for order assembly and lorry-loading operations at two of its distribution centres in Somerset. The trucks operate non-stop through 16-hour shifts and handle up to 70,000 cases each day.
Atlet won the contract, in a three-way pitch, on the strength of the TLP's rugged reliability and the ease with which its battery could be changed vital in such intensive operations.
The Atlet trucks are used in chilled (+2[degrees]C) and ambient distribution depots in Axbridge and Highbridge. They receive the finished product from Yeo Valley's manufacturing sites at Blagdon and Bridgwater. The ...
