THE mother of a boy with leukaemia has made an emotional plea for a bone marrow donor to save her son's life after a worldwide search failed to find a match.
Shehzad Mahar, 13, was diagnosed with leukaemia four years ago.
After five months of chemotherapy he went into remission, but the disease returned. Shehzadwho was born in Britain, has recently finished another, yearlong, gruelling chemotherapy course at London's Royal Free Hospital. It made him sick and prone to infections, and left him with no hair.
He is now free of the disease, but it could return at any time.
The only solution is a bone marrow ...
