A NORTH Wales MP has appealed to the region's employers to ``be understanding'' towards workers who want to watch World Cup matches.
But an employers' organisation is warning already that the World Cup - due to start on May 31 - could be a headache with workers reporting ``sick'' or simply not turning up for work.
Football fan Mark Tami, MP for Alyn and Deeside, is appealing for employers to be lenient and try to strike deals with staff over working hours.
