CNPC Engineering & Construction Company (CPECC) signed a confirmation letter in Karachi with Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) for the purpose of establishing a White Oil Pipeline Project(WOPP) in Pakistan, with an estimated value of US$ 317 million. This illustrates that the contract is now in operation, and the project formally launched.
WOPP includes a pipeline of approximately 817 kilometers from Karachi in the Southeast to Mahmood Kot (the distribution center of oil and gas products in the Northwest) for upcountry transportation of oil products.
