TotalFinaElf and Russian state oil firm Rosneft signed an agreement on 24 April for exploration of the Russian sector of the Black Sea near Tuapse. TotalFinaElf has also signed a deal with Russia's second-largest oil producer Yukos to explore the Shatskii block in the Black Sea, Reuters reported.
