Travelers can now park closer to the passenger terminal at the Eugene Airport because the short-term lot has returned to its larger, previous size.
A decision by the federal Transportation Security Administration on Monday restored 184 of 237 short-term parking spaces that had been eliminated after the Sept. 11 East Coast terrorist attacks.
The spaces were taken out of use by a ban on vehicle parking within 300 feet of the passenger terminal as a precaution against a bomb blast.
