It's almost spring, when flowers will soon start to bloom, grass will turn green, and leaves will start to pop out on trees. Love is in the air -- as well as mold, pollen, and dust. It will, inevitably, be the time of year when millions of people start sneezing and battling red eyes and runny noses.
Hay fever, or seasonal allergic rhinitis, affects as many as 30 million Americans, one out of every eight of us. Some suffer from tree pollen in the spring, and others don't start to sneeze until summer, when grass pollen peaks. Many don't find that their allergies really start to kick in until autumn, the season that ragweed blooms.
