ON Semiconductor unveiled the NCP1050 family of off-line switching regulators for power conversion applications below 40 W. These devices consume less than 250 milliwatts during no-load conditions. These new ICs combine a 700-volt power-switch circuit and offline start-up circuitry for 85 - 265 V AC power mains.
