To the editor of The Post:
The board of the Northern Kentucky Independent District Health Department will have a meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Greater Cincinnati Airport Hilton in Florence to consider discontinuing the Title X family planning program.
One part of the program offers birth control pills to low-income women.
Let's boil this complicated issue down to its central question.
The concern is that the pill, because of the way it works, may be a form of abortion. That leads to the question, what viable options are available to the women who use and will use this service? The key word in that question is ''viable.''
