K.I.D.S. GIVEN $20,000 BY SHARON BUSH, KARITAS PRESIDENT
NEW YORK - Sharon Bush, daughter-in-law of President and Barbara Bush and president of Karitas, presented Kids in Distressed Situations with a $20,000 check Thursday during a brief ceremony in the lobby of the 112 West 34th St. children's wear building.
The check was accepted by Mike Searles, president of Kids "R" Us and the K.I.D.S. board of directors.
Karitas was organized by Bush in 1988 to aid children by donating a portion of all proceeds from the sale of Karitas ...
