EAST HANOVER, N.J. -- Calling Philip Morris's tobacco business an "albatross around the neck of Kraft Foods" at the food corporation's annual meeting today, corporate accountability activists are urging Kraft top executives to help end the tobacco giant's abuses. Addressing Kraft Co-CEOs Betsy Holden and Roger Deromedi directly, representatives of the national corporate accountability organization Infact are challenging Kraft's leadership to use their leverage and role within Philip Morris to help put an end to the Marlboro Man and to keep the tobacco giant from interfering in public health policy.
