Three entrepreneurs in Fort Collins launched Venture Management Alliance to help small companies develop their products. Their first product is one of their own inventions.
``We worked together for some time. We used the Integrated Management System, a system to develop and build businesses,'' said Jeff Putt, one of the three partners. ``An idea funnel is what we call it.''
But as they built the company, another partner, Ken DeLine, found himself dealing with a situation that begged for a new invention.
