The 2002 Armstrong/Kahn Award, along with a $1,000 honorarium, is being awarded to Elaine M. Worzala, PhD; Dan Swango, PhD, MAI, SRA; and the late William Kinnard Jr., PhD, MAI. The award is a combination of the former Robert H. Armstrong Award and the former Sanders A. Kahn Award and recognizes the most outstanding article published in The Appraisal Journal over the past year. A task force chaired by Al Benson, consisting of Steve Crosson, David Lennhoff, Mark Rarrerman, Jim Sanders, and Marv Wolverton selected the winning article, "Intangible Assets in an Operating First-Class Downtown Hotel."
