May 14--WASHINGTON--Logan International Airport, whose security was ridiculed after two airliners hijacked from there slammed into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, is about to get a new federal supervisor responsible for security, according to high-level government officials.

George N. Naccara, appointed May 3 to oversee security at Washington's Dulles International Airport, is slated to transfer to Logan to assume the same job in Boston. The move would be a short one for Naccara: Just last week, he retired as a rear admiral in the Coast Guard, where he spent the past two years ...
