Husky Awards White Rose Deals
Calgary-based Husky Energy has awarded three contracts for the C$2.35 billion development of its White Rose oil field off Newfoundland and Labrador.
The field should go on stream in 2005, and produce 200 million-250 million bbl from the South Avalon pool over a 10- 15 year period. In future, the partners may proceed with development of the two other White Rose oil pools, North Avalon and West Avalon.
Natural gas production of 150 MMcf/d will be used as fuel for production facilities and as artificial lift into production wells. Excess will be conserved by injection ...
