AUCKLAND, New Zealand -- Right Hemisphere announced today that the award-winning technology Deep Paint 3D was used in creating the special effects in Oscar(R)-winning movie Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, winner in the best visual effects category. Right Hemisphere worked with the artists at Weta Digital to design better 3D painting tools and to smooth the whole texturing process for film production. Special tools created in collaboration with Weta Digital will be appearing in upcoming commercial versions of Deep Paint 3D and Deep UV software.
