UTICA, Ohio -- In Spring, there are many harbingers of the beautiful weather to come. But when Ohio's native wildflowers start to bloom, it means just one thing: thousands of visitors will begin returning to Velvet Ice Cream Company's picturesque Ye Olde Mill when it reopens on Wednesday, May 1.
Each year, the historic Ye Olde Mill attracts 150,000 nature and ice cream enthusiasts. This nineteenth century gristmill with waterwheel, nestled in the gently rolling hills and forests of East Central Ohio, is home to lovely nature trails, shady picnic grounds, and Ohio's only ice cream museum.
