Schweiker Administration Expands Program to Cover More Kids
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Gov. Mark Schweiker today launched a new radio advertising campaign to encourage parents of children in grades three through six who are struggling with reading or math to call Pennsylvania's "Classroom Plus" tutoring hotline.
Classroom Plus offers parents grants of up to $500 to purchase after-school tutoring for children who are falling behind in reading or math.
