May 14--Havana, Cuba---Speaking at Cuba's largest biotechnology institute Monday, Jimmy Carter discounted U.S. allegations that Cuba was aiding other nations in manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.
Earlier in the day the former president met with two of Cuba's leading political dissidents for a 45-minute conversation on human rights and promoting peaceful change on the Communist island.
