DENVER _ Wednesday night was Colorado Avalanche goalie Patrick Roy's 11th appearance in a Game 7, tying him with New Jersey's Scott Stevens and Montreal's Doug Gilmour for most among active NHL players.
Roy is 6-5 in Game 7s, having won his past four after losing the previous four. He was 2-2 with Montreal before being traded to Colorado.
Western superiority
