Byline: Paul Willis Special to the News
The ultimate goal for most high school baseball players is to eventually play in a big-league park on a daily basis.
For one day, that dream will become a reality for 50 seniors.
A committee of media, high school coaches and Colorado Rockies officials selected the 50 players who will compete in the Rockies High School All-Star Game on May 26 at Coors Field after the Rockies game against the San Francisco Giants (1 p.m.).
Highlighting the list of players are standout ThunderRidge pitcher Sean Thompson, regular-season strikeout leader Adam Gold of Bear Creek and four players from Cherry Creek.
