On Sunday, "X-Files" fans everywhere may be muttering this catch phrase from the show when the curtain finally comes down on Fox's paranoid sci-fi drama.
But many fans had already lost faith in their favorite show, hence the low ratings, hence Fox's decision not to renew. The series, built on witty writing and compelling conspiracy underpinnings and sustained by the intense sexual chemistry between Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson), has been on a steady downward trajectory creatively.
Perhaps disillusionment set in when Mulder was replaced by the decidedly stiff ...
