A MOTHER watched her baby die in her arms at home, while her frantic husband was on the phone to the hospital.
Five-week-old Rachael Cowie - who was recovering from open heart surgery - died less than 24 hours after doctors told her parents they were being "over-anxious" and that she was only suffering from colic.
Devastated Marie and Alexander, of Hamilton, Lanarkshire, yesterday hit out at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Yorkhill, in Glasgow.
